FUTURUM X CoffeeStop

Vejle, a great small city located on the Jutland Peninsula. This is where we ended up during our search for a partner shop in Denmark more than half a year ago. A wonderful city and area for cycling, even though the pro’s that have competed in the Tour of Denmark, probably disagree. The pain in their legs after the stage that traditionally finishes in Vejle, is still on their minds most likely. There’s one section in the route where the riders have to go up a climb with crazy high gradients multiple times and this stage is normally the one where the general classification is decided.

We live and breathe online business, right from the start of the company back in 1999. So it might not be logical for an outsider to see that we are partnering with a physical store in Denmark, but for us it makes a lot of sense. When we started talking with Trine and Sune, the new owners of Coffee Stop, we quickly understood that they are open minded, smart business people with a different approach to running a bike shop than most others. They were very enthusiastic about our brand, products and approach right from the start, so the deal was closed in no time. The past months, Coffee Stop has promoted and sold FUTURUM products to many Danish cyclists very successfully and we are thrilled to hear the positive reactions from a great number of those new customers.

Coffee Stop is located in one of the most popular shopping streets of Vejle in a characteristic building. Most of the FUTURUM product range is nicely presented and the staff knows the ins and outs of each of the items. Coffee Stop is not only well known for the great brands they sell and promote, such as Open Cycle, Factor, Black Inc, etc., but also for their professional workshop and the outstanding Bike Fit center operated by former Pro Mads Christensen. Great City, great shop, great people. Certainly worth a visit! Oh yeah; ask Frederik for one of his amazing coffee’s and you’ll keep coming back for sure!
