OUR AMBITION TO WIN THE TOUR DE FRANCE

Leopard, the name sounds familiar. Being a UCI World Tour team from 2011 to 2013 with riders such as Fabian Cancellara and the Schleck brothers. During this time, team members wore the yellow jersey at the Tour de France and won many of the most important races in the world, such as Paris-Roubaix and the Tour of Flanders. In addition to this project, Leopard has always felt obliged to offer young athletes a professional environment and a fair chance to develop. For this reason, Leopard Pro Cycling further develops some of the world's best talents in the past years as a one of the top UCI Continental Team.

The partnership of FUTURUM with the Luxembourgish Leopard Pro Cycling Team is a fundamental step towards the ambitious vision to celebrate the 2025 Tour de France winner in FUTURUM clothing. By working closely together with professional riders, we know what is important in terms of high-quality cycling clothing at all times. This will result in a better product for you as our customer. PROFORMANCE JORIS OUTFIT

The two most important parts of the Leopard Pro Cycling kit are the PROFORMANCE Bib Shorts JORIS II and the matching PROFORMANCE Jersey JORIS Pro II. Both items are highly breathable and lightweight. Dutch climber Jan Maas is very happy with this clothing set. “I really like the JORIS II Bib Shorts and Jersey. Because it is lightweight, I am able to get up climbs quicker and thanks to the great breathability, I don’t suffer from the heat whilst ascending the mountains during our races in the summer.”

VESTS OR JACKETS?

In addition to the aforementioned Bib Shorts and Jersey, the Leopard Pro Cycling riders are kitted up with PROFORMANCE Base Layers Extra Cool, PROFORMANCE Aero Gloves and PROFORMANCE Socks Meryl Skinlife XTRA Cool. Next to that, the riders are really enjoying their products that make sure they can train in the most comfortable conditions possible. For Mattias Skjelmose Jensen – who turned pro in 2021 at Trek-Segafredo – the PROFORMANCE Wind Vest Superlight Merino was an absolute gamechanger at the beginning of a race and after intervals in training. For others, the well-known 4 SEASONS Jacket was the go-to jacket. “There is no bad weather, only bad clothing,” says sprinter Colin Heiderscheid. "Thanks to the 4 SEASONS collection, I was able to continue training, without the weather affecting the quality of my training sessions."
